Brooke Miranda
Brooke is a 4th year Ag Business major with minors in Water Policy and Law. She grew up in Turlock, California. Growing up in the agricultural and dairy industries, Brooke has become very fond and appreciative of the opportunities given to her through these amazing industries. Brooke’s future goals are to become a water rights lawyer to help bridge the gap between legal frameworks and the agricultural industry. We are so lucky and honored to have had her lead this club the past year!

Morgan Oliveira
Morgan is a 3rd year Agriculture Communications major from Hilmar, California, where she was raised on her family’s dairy farming operation. This year, Morgan is graduating with her Bachelors degree. Following graduation, she will be attending The Ohio State University pursuing a Master’s Degree in Agriculture Communication, with a research focus in agricultural policy. Morgan has previously served as a California FFA State Officer and the District 4 Dairy Princess for the California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB). This summer, she will be traveling with the CMAB to Mexico, learning about marketing and trade on an international scale. Her combined passion for the dairy industry and agricultural advocacy leads her to pursue a career in the dairy industry to represent California dairy farming families like hers.

Skyler Schaap
Skyler is a fourth-year Dairy Science major with a minor in Agribusiness. Raised on her family’s dairy farm in Clovis, New Mexico, she has developed a deep-rooted passion for the dairy industry through not only hands-on experience but also showing dairy cattle at numerous fairs and junior shows across the country. At Cal Poly, Skyler has been involved in Dairy Judging, Dairy Challenge, Dairy Quiz Bowl, conducting the California State FFA Dairy Cattle Judging Contest, working at the Cal Poly dairy unit, and contributing to various club initiatives. Skyler is passionate about strengthening the dairy community and advancing the industry through leadership, education, and hands-on involvement, which leads her to pursue a career in the dairy industry.

Sam Garcia
Sam Garcia is a third year dairy science major from Lost Hills, CA. After graduation she hopes to pursue grad school before entering the industry. She has enjoyed working at the Cal Poly Dairy, participating in Dairy Challenge, and Dairy Cattle Research within her time here at Cal Poly!

Lauren Oliveira
Lauren Oliveira is a 3rd year Agricultural Communications major with a minor in Ag Business from Turlock, CA. This year Lauren serves as our Publicity Chair, only fitting that she practices the skills in Los Lecheros that she will use in the work force. After graduation she plans on going into a career in marketing within the ag industry.

Ian de Jong
Ian de Jong is a 2nd year majoring in Dairy Science. He was born and raised in Hanford, California, and has lived on his family's dairy his whole life. Growing up, Ian participated in FFA, where he exhibited poultry at his local county fair. Being around dairy has made Ian appreciate the agricultural industry and all that it does. This summer Ian will be working for his families dairy to learn more skills for his future career in the dairy industry.

Isabella Ribeiro
Isabella is a 4th year Agribusiness major. She grew up in Tulare, CA, on her family’s fourth generation dairy farm which began a deep passion for the dairy industry. She served as a Dairy Princess 2022-2023, showed dairy cattle, interned with Rosa Brothers Milk Company, and is now serving as the Los Lecheros Events Chair for the second time. After graduation, Isabella will be working for AgWest Farm Credit in the lending department!

Olivia Machado
Olivia is a 2nd year Ag Business major from Tulare, California. She is has grown up being a part of her family's dairy. A passion for the dairy industry was instilled in her from a young age in which she has developed a deep love for the industry. She held showed dairy cattle and held positions in her FFA chapter. She also served as the 2023-2024 District 5 South Dairy Princess. Over the past two years on the Los Lecheros Officer Team, she has built many connections and lasting memories. In addition to being involved in the Dairy Club at Cal Poly, Olivia serves as the Director of Panhellenic Relations for Alpha Omicron Pi. This coming summer, Olivia will be interning with Rosa Brothers Milk Company.

Adison Machado
Adison Machado is a 4th year Dairy Science major. She was born and raised in Turlock, Ca. After graduating in the spring she plans to attend nursing school.

Kyleigh Forster
Kyleigh Forster is a 3rd year Dairy Science major with a minor in Agribusiness. From Bakersfield, California, Kyleigh has deep roots in agriculture and has been actively involved in livestock and dairy from a young age. Her passion was fostered through years of showing dairy cattle and market goats at local, state, and national levels, where she earned numerous championship titles. Beyond the show ring, Kyleigh remains actively engaged in her community and on campus. She is a Dean’s Honor List recipient, a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority, and Cal Poly’s Western Bonanza Livestock Manager. Her dedication to service, leadership, and the dairy industry continues to guide her academic and career goals as she works toward becoming a strong advocate and professional in the world of agriculture with hopes of being a CRNA.

Freshman Representative
Aurora Rodriguez
Aurora Rodriguez is a 1st year animal science major on the pre-vet track. She is from Salinas California known as the “Salad Bowl of the World”. This year Aurora’s future plans are traveling with Loop Abroad for two weeks where she will travel to Thailand to work with veterinarians. She plans to work with emergency veterinarians over the summer in her area as well, in order to work her way up towards applying to Vet programs in the future during her third year at Cal Poly.

Anthony Gutierrez
Anthony Gutierrez is a 3rd year Dairy Science major with a minor in Ag Business at Cal Poly. Growing up in Tulare, California, he developed a passion for the dairy industry through specific experiences, such as working on a farm and participating in FFA. Anthony has been involved in many clubs and has taken on leadership roles, such as barbecue chair for the dairy club. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in dairy nutrition.

Bradley Hilarides
Bradley Hilarides is a 3rd year from Tulare, CA. He is majoring in Agricultural Systems Management with a minor in Agribusiness. Following graduation, Bradley plans to pursue a career in dairy engineering and hopes to return to work at his family’s dairy.
